Well would you believe that five months could go by so quickly! The competition is over! Well done everybody for shooting your cards and getting them in on time, I hope you have been following the results on our web site. You can see all the results as you read this.
We made a decision to add in the Elite Class to make sure that more riflemen (ladies) or should I say rifle persons and pistoleers (hope that gets everybody) has a better chance of winning a medal.
There are a lot of very close scores deciding several of the classes, each competitor is to be congratulated on their efforts and skill. Martin Oakes 2x50 and Oliver Welch 1x50 showed just how good Fiennes Esu, are with the highest medal awards.
The medals will be posted out within the next few days, I will send them by post to your leaders for presentation at your range.
I hope you all enjoyed the competition and will want to enter the next one. We will publish on our web site the entry form for 2008, in time for the Scout National Rifle Championship in October.
