We had another very successful outing to the Hampshire County Finals, bringing home medals in 3 of the 4 age categories. And, for once, the old codgers didn't have to bathe in the youngsters glory.
The under 14's gave us our largest haul with Robert Alderman winning Silver in both the Rifle and Pistol disciplines and winning Gold on aggregate. He was joined by Robert Hyndman who won Bronze in the rifle, its really good to see a new name up there. As is usual these days, the under 18's produced the toughest opposition, but Pierre Reader won through in the rifle just clinching Gold on a tie break from Phil Hobbs of Bramshill ESU, and Matt Carrig won Bronze in both the pistol and aggregate competitions. I'm well chuffed too, having squeezed a Silver out of the adults' pistol.
So to sum up, that's 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze - weyhey!
